The Johnson Creek Clay Studio is located in an old horse barn that used to be part of the H.C. Christian's Company egg and butter business established in Johnson Creek in the 1880's. 

The first floor of the building has about 1800 square feet of space for wheels, work tables, electric kiln, pug mill, and gallery and sales area. The gas-fired kiln is located in a shed adjacent to the brick building.
